“Arts are a good vessel to bring us to a higher level and discussion”
Allan’s Artist Mission Statement
Throughout my journey as a creator and cultural advocate, my work has always been driven by a commitment to provoke thought, spark conversation, and ignite change. As the founder and artistic director of Culture Project, I have had the privilege of producing and nurturing theater that reflects the pulse of our society—exploring the complexities of human experience, social justice, and the deeply personal stories that shape our collective consciousness.
I believe in the transformative power of art. Whether through the restoration of a piano or the staging of a play, my approach is rooted in a deep respect for craftsmanship and a desire to make art accessible, impactful, and real. I have always viewed art as a bridge—connecting individuals to new perspectives, challenging established norms, and fostering empathy in ways that transcend language and barriers.
My work has sought to create space for the unheard and the unseen. From the exonerated men and women whose voices needed to be heard in the wake of their wrongful convictions, to the complex narratives surrounding freedom and justice in our world today, I am driven by the urgency of now. I firmly believe that theater is a powerful tool for social change—it has the ability to break down walls, to heal, and to expose the truths we often avoid from confronting.
In every piece I produce, I aim to honor the stories that need to be told, the individuals who need to be seen, and the issues that demand our attention. Through this work, I hope to continue building a legacy of art that is as much about reflection as it is about action, and that serves as a catalyst for both personal and societal transformation.
